Send a campaign
Broadcast an approved template to a segment or an explicit list, then watch per-status progress and pause, resume, or cancel.

Build the campaign
In Campaigns, create one with a name, a channel, an approved template, and an audience. The audience is exactly one of: a segment (a saved filter that resolves to live membership), or an explicit recipient list — not both. The channel must match the template's channel.
Schedule (optional)
Leave it to send now, or set a future scheduled time — a scheduled campaign parks at launch and sends when its time arrives.
Launch
Launch resolves the audience and fans the campaign out into the durable outbox — one message per eligible recipient. Opted-out and unmessageable contacts are skipped and counted, never failing the launch. The gateway then drains the outbox at a safe pace (it owns pacing/anti-ban).
Watch and control
Each campaign shows a per-status breakdown — total recipients, enqueued, and how many are sent/delivered/failed — updating live as messages drain. You can pause (stop further enqueue), resume, or cancel (terminal). Messages already queued still send.
Why fewer than expected sent
If a campaign reached fewer people than your list, that's by design: opted-out and non-messageable contacts are skipped. Check the segment membership and the skipped count on the launch result.
